Here is a pic of our new storage shed. Tony is using his dad's front-end loader to place the container next to our duplex. Mark is looking on.

Silvers from the Unalakleet River

Here are some of the silvers we harvested from the Unalakleet River in August.

A little closer. We usually clean them on the river but brought these ones in because we had to weigh them as we were in a small contest.

After soaking in a brine salmon fillets need to dry before going in the smoker.

This weekend was Senior weekend for the boys. It was their last home game weekend of the season. Next week they travel to Bristol Bay and the following week we head to Pt. Hope for regionals. I cannot believe how fast the season went by. It seems like it was just a few weeks ago we were starting the season and last night was our last home game. I wish I had taken pictures of the boys as they were announced but I was busy handing them 8x10 pictures to give to their parents. After they gave their pictures to their parents they were given 6 roses to distribute to anyone they chose. The boys went to the stands and distributed their roses. I received a rose and a hug from each boy as well.
